Welcome to the Spike Monkeys Volleyball Club

Indoor League

Each year we enter a number of teams in the PBVA league (web site), which takes place on Tuesday evenings. This year's season starts on September 7th, 2010 with the annual player development evening and the first fixtures of the season commence from the following Tuesday, September 14th. This year the Spike Monkeys are entering four teams in the three divisions.

Fixtures

Each team's fixtures can be found at the following links:

Fees

Each person playing for one of our teams in the league must pay £20 membership fee at the start of the season which covers general running costs of the club and the rest goes towards training and league fees. On top of this, the cost of each full match played is £3.50 per player. This year it is up to the team captains to recover this money from their team members.

Playing Shirts

One of the requirements of playing in the league is that players on each team wear matching kit, so if you don't have a Monkeys playing shirt and intend to be playing in the league for us then you will need one.

We still have some left over from a couple of years ago and have a new batch on order so please let us know if you don't have one and we will see what sizes we have. Cost for each shirt is £20 but if you pay the yearly membership fee it is free of charge.
